Holz-Her edge banding machines are manufactured to give maximum performance with excellent edge bonding capabilities. All Holz-Her units give outstanding performance and are designed and built for high continuous loading. The range of panel that a Holz-Her edgebander can handle is up to 60mm and it is able to apply a edging of up to 30mm (Depending on model). A powerful track motor guarantees a uniformed driving movement for the transport belt, which runs on precision guides and transports the work piece reliably and exactly through the machine.

Most Holz-Her Edgebanders have a very simple and easy to use control system, where all units are addressed individually to allow unit functions to be shown in plain text with graphical support. This allows a central easy to use method of setting units and axis via fine adjustment (depending on equipment).

The Holz-Her edgebander is the only machine of its kind to be fitted with the patented cartridge system. This offers the unique advantages of short heat up times, fast change over of glue type and colour. The closed heating system reduces vapour, and the high pressure glue application allows positive adhesion even when applied to large pored work pieces.  The glue system has the ability to use PU glue as standard. It is also possible with certain types of Holz-Her glue system to use cartridge and granulated adhesives.
